Since when has Veritas dealt with building apartments?
Veritas began building apartments 12 years ago, from 1989 under the name Veritas Kft and from 1996 as Veritas Invest Rt.

Where can I get information about the actual apartments of Veritas?
You can read about our new apartments in our home page, its address is www.veritas.hu and also in our magazines that are published country-wide.(Házépítés Magazin, Ingatlan Magazin) Furthermore we currently advertise in the following daily papers: Zuglói Lapok, Blikk, Expressz, Népszabadság. How big apartments does Veritas build?
We are currently offering both big and small apartments for our clients.
Their size: 33, 38, 40, 50, 60, 70, 76, 80, 90, 97, 100, 107, 115, 120 (m2)

Where does Veritas build apartments?
Exclusively in Budapest in the 14th district (Zugló)

5.

Is there a possibility draw on loan?
There is a possibility to take state financed loans that are granted by trade banks. Currently, Government Decree No. 12/2001. (I.31.) regulates subventions for apartments.

Are the advertised apartments completed?
It is a general practice that the signing of the contract takes place during the building and the final planning of the apartments (e.g. cross-walls, cladding) happens according to the consumers' demands.

Do the apartments have balcony?
Yes, every apartment has balcony. In the case of apartments situated in the garret gallery or balcony form part of the apartment. The half of the floor-space of the balcony and the third of the floor-space of the gallery are included in the whole floor-space of the apartment.

What is included in the purchase-price?
Veritas hands over the flats in turn-key state. The purchase-price does not comprise the kitchen furniture, the necessary public utility charges and the price of dial gauges needed for utilities as well as the fee of connecting them up.

9.

What kind of heating system is there in the apartments?
The apartments are equipped with unique heating that provides both heating and hot-water supply. Radiators are generally of Dunaferr-Lux type.

10.

How much can I change of the interior of the flat taking into consideration the plan after building permit?
For our future clients, we give all the possibilities to realize their dreams to live in an as 'custom-tailored' apartment as possible, of course within the boundaries of the architecture and carrying out or respectively to the fact that you bought the flat turn-key or in structurally completed state.

What does that mean?

  • We provide an opportunity for you to modify cross-walls, but of course the wet area cannot be removed and the interior cannot modify the image of the facade. The client gets the documentation of the modified floor plan that we attach to his/her file and later on we realize this (modified) plan;
  • You can choose from a number of different coverings for the wet areas in our office, but of course you also can bring your favorite coverings. In this case we reimburse the amount of money laid down in the contract (the price of the original covering). The living room is covered with first class oak-parquet and the bedrooms are covered with carpet. Evidently, everybody can change all these considering its financial side;... (paintwork, sanitary fitting, mixers, ...)

What kind of fittings and built-in closets are installed in the apartments?
We give 1 gas hearth or - because of technical reasons - electric hearth, 1 one-trayed corbel sink, we do not install built-in closets.

12.

Garret: yes or no?
The construction of roof-framing: First layer cast-in-place reinforced concrete slab and above this there is conventional roof-frame made of decontaminated wood with tile roofing. That is why the thermal characteristics of garrets are better than that of apartments with conventional roof-framing and that means that in winter they are not cold and in summer there is no 'baking hot' in garrets.

What about landscaping in the courtyard of the apartment house?
VERITAS INVEST Rt. hands over the houses with rough ground shaping, fence and trash room. Veritas cannot undertake landscaping because of the various demands and financial variegation of the possibilities that is why it can be done after the decision of the occupants.

14.

Does the price of the apartment include garage or storage?
The purchasing-price of the apartments does not include garage or storage. It has to be purchased itself if needed.

15.

What about the dial gauges of the apartments?
The apartments are equipped water, gas and electricity gauges. We document the position of gauges (the position of the counting installations) and after that you will pay the consumption of your apartment.

16.

What kind of documentation do I need for signing a contract?
ID card, taxpayers' card, a card proving permanent address personal identification number (for Hungarian citizens).

17.

What are Veritas apartments made of?
Building fabrics:
Load-bearing walls.
   - cellar: concrete and "zsalukő" walls
   - garage: columns made of concrete, hand-operated up-and-over
garage door
   - ground floor, first floor: Wienerberger Phorotherm bricks
   - walls: Wienerberger Phorotherm bricks
Slabs: monolithic VB slabs
